I was just using mine (the "Scheidegger Princess-Matic") to comment on some student papers and was reminded of just how heavy it is for its size. But that makes it stable on a table, and the engineering is very good. I can type very fast on it, and the alignment is excellent.
I suppose the Princess is a tad on the heavy side, but I only have an Olympia SM-9 to compare it to. I will hopefully have my own classroom soon (K-5). I wonder what their reactions would be to typewritten comments!
